NLP Resources – Top 10 NLP Blogs
If you’re looking for top calibre NLP resources then this is going to be very useful to you. I searched the internet for 3 full days looking for NLP resource Blogs. Out of the 97 different Blogs I rated each resource with the following criteria:
- It had to have at least 75% original content
- The Blog has to have a track record for being updated
- The Blog had to be at least 12 months old with access to the archives
The criteria for this search was very important to me because I wanted to provide a valuable document that you can actually us and rely on, to find the information you are looking for as it pertains to NLP.
#1: Salad LTD (Jamie Smart) – This is an extremely valuable source of NLP information with a lot of free NLP content and downloads. Personally, I believe Jamie is the leader in the NLP industry for creating new and exciting products that work. His card decks are phenomenally powerful for learning and implementing various NLP techniques. http://www.saladltd.co.uk/blog/
#2: NLP Feed – This is a collaboration of multiple NLP resources that are being syndicated on a daily basis to this central hub. It’s a valuable news resource to keep updated as to what is happening in the NLP industry. http://www.nlpfeed.com/
#3: NLP Comprehensive – Another valuable source of information and a library full of articles and success stories relating to positive parenting, personal change, finances and weight loss NLP techniques. http://www.nlpco.com/news/
#4: How To Master NLP (Steve Bauer) – This Blog is all about becoming more focused, how to communicate more effectively and overall emotional fulfillment through the power of NLP. The free NLP guide shows you one of the quickest ways to learn NLP and put it into practice. http://www.howtomasternlp.com/
#5: Jedi Mind Tricks – The focus of this Blog is specifically in mental performance for fighters both professional and amateur. Combining martial arts training with NLP to create a strong body and more focused and determined mind has been the philosophy of Al for close to 20 years. He is now focusing on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). http://jedimindtricksblog.wordpress.com/
#6: Natural Language Processing (Hal Daume III) – This resource looks at several different NLP training styles and models. Hal’s latest post talks about the similarities between Vision Research and NLP which is a very interesting comparison. This is a free style blog with a lot of valuable opinions based on the author and its contributors. http://nlpers.blogspot.com/
#7: Pegasus NLP Blog – This is a valuable source of NLP information as it relates to your daily life. The archives go back to August 2007. This is one of those hard-to-find sources that is pure gold. They have an annual NLP workshop called NLP Adventure. http://pegasusnlpblog.com/
#8: NLP Tweets – NLP Tweets allows you to peek inside the lives of NLP practitioners as well as other NLP students. It’s like an inside look into the NLP community as they converse with each other about NLP and average everyday life in general. http://nlptweets.com/
#9: Positive NLP – This is a fantastic resource which is more like a community. Once you sign up and become a member (free) then you will have access to some of the most extensive information I’ve seen in a while. Their database is filled with relevant articles, videos and like-minded people interested in NLP. http://www.positivenlp.com/
#10: Salad LTD (Jamie Smart) – The reason I put this second source of information from Jamie Smart even though it goes against one of my guidelines (guideline #3) is because this is extremely valuable information that Jamie has on this particular Blog. It was for a launch of one of his products “Conversational Belief Change” but the videos are exquisite. You will get a lot out of the videos in this Blog… I guarantee it! http://saladltd.wordpress.com/
Bonus:
Here is a small list of the top NLP practitioners that you can learn, study and model from as you go through your own NLP journey. Use this to find a mentor who suits your personality and the style of NLP you wish to pursue.
The great thing about NLP is there are many different styles which you can learn and implement for just about any situation you come across. Choosing a mentor should come down to their ability to teach others their techniques successfully as well as their own continued learning and advancement.
Personally, I have chosen Jamie Smart to be one of my mentors because I see him as doing the things I want to pursue later on. He is one of the only practitioners that continue to develop new and exciting products not to mention all the fantastic content he gives away for free on his websites and blogs.
